LEOMINSTER- Cecile M. (Brouillet) Grogan, 83 formerly of 32 Niles St., Leominster, died Sunday, June 17, 2007, in the Lifecare Center of Leominster after an illness. She was born in Leominster, August 9, 1923, the daughter of the late Edward Brouillet and Rhea (Sutherland) Brouillet and was a lifelong Leominster resident. She leaves two sons; Richard Grogan and his wife Ann of Leominster, Brian Grogan and his life partner David Papa of Leominster; two beloved grandchildren, Jacki and John Grogan both of Leominster; a lifelong and loyal friend Vi Bouret of Leominster; her half-sister Ginny Beard of Los Vanos, CA; and several nephews and nieces. Her husband of forty-seven years, George F. Grogan died September 11,1994 she was also predeceased by two brothers, Edward Brouillet of Leominster, Wilfred Broillet of Rindge New Hampshire and by one sister, Olivine "Toots" Lucier of Leominster. Mrs. Grogan was a Real Estate Broker for over thirty years most recently working for Charron Real Estate until her retirement in 2000. She was a member of Maplewood Country Club, the Mass Board of Realtors and St Leo's Church in Leominster. Mrs. Grogan enjoyed inventing items, she held a patent for a Dripless Ice Cream Cone Holder. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2007, from the M.A Simard & Son Funeral Home 14 Walker St., Leominster, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St Leo's Church 108 Main St. Leominster. Burial will follow in St Leos Cemetery Leominster. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, June 19, 2007, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the M.A. Simard & Son Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations in her memory be made to the Life Care Center of Leominster Activities Fund, 370 West St., Leominster, MA 01453 or may be left at the funeral home.
