Charles Anthony Ponusky, fondly known as Chuck or Charlie, began his earthly journey on the 12th of January, 1946, in Winchendon, Massachusetts. Charles was a charismatic figure who filled every room with laughter and always wore a contagious smile. He was a loyal friend, a loving husband, and a devoted father, whose life centered around his family and their happiness.

Charles led an accomplished life as a Mechanical Designer, spending many fruitful years at Starretts before his retirement. He served in the US Navy and spent time as a member of the Lions Club, the Lithuanian Club, and recently, the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Charles enjoyed art, golf, his dog Paco, and most importantly, spending quality time with his family. His spiritual journey began as an altar boy and remained a key part of his life, providing comfort and guidance throughout his years.

Charles is survived by his devoted wife, Susan Ponusky; his loving children, Cassia Hession and William (Bill) Ponusky; his cherished son-in-law, Brian Hession; his beloved grandchildren, Alyssa Smith, Shelby Ponusky, Samantha Hession, Jack Hession, and Maggie Hession; and his loving siblings, Doug Ponusky and Carole Kenney. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Bob Ponusky and Paul Ponusky, and his parents, Walter and Pauline Ponusky.

We invite all who knew Charles to share their memories, stories, and photographs of him.

His life was a testament to the power of laughter, love, and loyalty, and his legacy will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to know him. As we remember Charles, let us celebrate his life and the joy he brought to ours.
