Chris A. Ignaszewski, 48 of 24 North Main Street, Orange died Thursday, September 14, 2006 in the UMass Memorial Medical Center - University Campus, Worcester after a short illness.
She was born in Greenfield on May 23, 1958, the daughter of Paul D. and Jean M. (Allen) Ignaszewski.
Chris grew up in Athol and graduated from Athol High School in 1976. She was previously employed at McElwain Shoe Co. in Athol, Adell Corp. in Orange and most recently worked as a grinder at the Rodney Hunt Co. in Orange since 1978 and has lived in Orange since 1980. Her hobbies included caring for cats, animals, wildlife, bird watching, reading, fishing and spending time at family gatherings on Sundays.
She leaves her parents, Paul D. and Jean M. (Allen) Ignaszewski of Athol; one brother, Steven P. Ignaszewski of Greenfield; an Uncle, Roger Allen from Athol, along with several other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Graveside services will be held Friday, September 22, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in Silver Lake Cemetery, Athol.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Our Lady Immaculate Church, 192 School St., Athol, MA 01331 or to the Athol Animal Shelter, Thrower Rd., Athol, MA 01331.
