ATHOL - Chris A. "Tata" Tatro, 37, of 35 Riverbend St., died Friday, April 18, 2003, in the UMass Memorial Healthcare, University Campus, Worcester.
He leaves his mother, Madelaine (Bowers) Dresser; three children, Christian Tatro of Athol, Tasha Tatro of Orange, and Chris Allen-Matthew Deragon of Springfield; three brothers, Aldo Tatro of Athol, Darien Tatro of Hadley and Todd Tatro of Athol; a sister, Tammy Tatro of Athol; his close companion, Laurelee Brownhill; and six half-brothers and half-sisters.
He was born in Athol, March 29, 1966, son of the late Merton A. Tatro, and lived here most of his life. He attended Athol schools.
Mt. Tatro was a pallet builder for Mass Pallet, Inc. in Hubbardston. He previously worked as a custodian at the Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield and Sunbridge Nursing home in East Longmeadow. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing and playing pool. He especially enjoyed being with his children and friends.
Calling hours in the J. Edward Murphy Funeral Home will be Monday, April 21 from 5 to 8 p.m.
Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.
