GARDNER - Christina Dominica Theresa (Iammarino) Boulay, 70, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, April 10, 2021
after a strong and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, Paul F. Boulay, of
Gardner; Her four children, Jason Boulay and his wife, Kristine, of
Hereford, Arizona, Kimberly Ferreira and her husband, Chris, of Fitchburg,
Nicole Gale and her husband, Chris, of Summerfield, NC, and Tara Grenier
and her husband, Shane, of Gardner; her ten grandchildren, Alexander,
Shane, Amber, Laney, Zachary, Skylar, Antonio, Connor, Ryan and
Benjamin; her loving brother Richard Iammarino, and his wife, Barbara, of
Westminster, and her niece, Amy Luoto, and her husband Kris of Hudson.
Chris was born in Cambridge, MA on August 28, 1950, the daughter of the
late John and Assunta (Tedoldi) Iammarino. She is a graduate of Fitchburg
High School, class of 1969.
Chris worked in a variety of positions over her life but her passion was
teaching, instructing and mentoring children, teenagers and young adults
in Drum and Bugle Corps and in Winter Guard. Chris was instrumental in
the Kingsmen and Joanettes Drum and Bugle Corps and a Co-Founder of
the Adonis Winter Guard. Chris’s colleagues and friends knew her as a kind
and caring person, always willing to help anyone in need. Additionally,
Chris was famous for her amazing Christmas celebrations that welcomed so
many to her home over the years.
Friends are invited to say a final goodbye to Chris at Mack Funeral Home, 105 Central St., Gardner, on April 14, 2021 from 4 to 7 p.m..
The funeral will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 10 a.m at St Bernard Parish at St. Camillus De Lellis Church 333 Mechanic St., Fitchburg. Burial will follow in Woodside Cemetery, Westminster.
