Christine Lynn Burley

TONAWANDA, NY - Christine Lynn Burley, 27, of Tonawanda, New York, and formerly of Otter River, died unexpectedly on Thursday, November 5, 2009 in New York. She was born in Stratford, New Jersey, on September 18, 1982, the daughter of Darren A. and Mary J. (Jessep) Burley of Otter River. Christine moved to the Otter River area with her family at the age of seven. She studied English and Journalism at the Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina and was a resident of Buffalo, New York for the past five years. She was a member of the Bethany Gospel Chapel in Worcester. Besides her parents, Christine is also survived by her sister, Faith Olivia Burley; seven brothers, Joseph Anthony Burley, Joshua Darren Burley, David Andrew Burley, Daniel Alexander Burley, Darren Anthony Burley, Jr., James Elliott Burley, Christopher Aaron Burley, all of Otter River; her fiance, Christopher Proctor of Tonawanda, NY; her maternal grandparents, Tom and Charlene Jessep of Holliston, MA; her paternal grandmother, Doretta J. Burley of Bridgeton, NJ; also many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, David S. Burley on June 6, 2007. Graveside services will be held Thursday, November 12, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. in the Wildwood Cemetery, West St., Gardner. Calling hours will be held Thursday, November 12, 2009 from 10:15 - 11:15 a.m. at the Poliks Funeral Home, 431 Pleasant St., Gardner. $(document).ready(function(){ });
