Christine (Lafond) Leclair

Gardner- Christine (Lafond) Leclair, 93, of Gardner, Passed away peacefully on Tuesday August 6th, 2013 in the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, Worcester. She was born on May 23rd, 1920 in Bacaria, PA, the daughter of the late Demetrius and Marie (Mucha) Polulok. Christine worked at the former First National Store in Gardner as a meat wrapper. She enjoyed spending lots of time with her family, solving crossword puzzles, and working outside in her garden and around her yard. Christine leaves behind her daughters:  Joyce Boutwell and her husband Don of Gardner, and Geraldine Saari and her husband Ed of Gardner, her son: Anthony Lafond and his wife Jackie of Ashburnham, her sisters: Helen Chambers and Sue Kochan both of PA, her brother: John Polulok of NJ, seven grandchildren: Linda Shea and her husband Kevin of Dayton, ME, Scott Boutwell and his wife Rachel of Phillipston, MA, Karen Gravel and her husband Ed of Gardner, MA, Mark DiPasquale and his wife Sue of Phillipston, MA, Curtis Lafond and his wife Erin of Templeton, MA, Jennifer Lafond of Worcester, MA, and Ross Lafond of Dorchester, MA, six great grandchildren: Casey Shea and his wife Erin of Pittsburg, PA, Amy Gravel of Gardner, MA, Marcus DiPasquale of Phillipston, MA, Tyler DiPasquale of Phillipston, MA, Marshel Lafond of Templeton, MA, and William Lafond of Templeton, MA , one great-great grandchild: Taylor Chirco of Gardner, MA, and many nieces and nephews. Christine was predeceased by her sisters Ann, Kaye, Eva, Olean, and brothers Joe, Mike, and Wasco, and her great-great grandson Silas Michael. A graveside service will be held on Monday August 12, 2013 in Wildwood Cemetery West St. Gardner at 11:00am. There will be no calling hours.
