GARDNER- Christopher W. Bizzak, 42, of 126 Otter River Road, Gardner, died on Monday, November 1, 2010 in the UMass Memorial Hospital, Belmont Street, Worcester.
He was born on March 3, 1968 in Elgin, Illinois and resided in many places as a child including Germany while his father was in the military. Chris moved to Massachusetts with his family and graduated from Ayer High school with the class of 1986. He resided in Leominster for several years and was a resident of Gardner for the past twenty years. Chris worked as an Electrical Technician for Assurance Technology in Westford for five years. Chris was a big fan of the New England Patriots and enjoyed weight lifting. He also enjoyed listening to music and riding his motorcycle. Chris loved spending time with his family, especially with his greatest joy: his eleven-year old daughter, Morgan.
He leaves his beloved wife of eleven years, Lynne M. Bizzak; his
daughter, Morgan Bizzak; his stepdaughter, Brandy Bingham and her companion Randy Lloyd of Reading; his mother, Virginia (Schmidt) Bizzak of Leominster; his father, William Bizzak and his wife Renee of Sierra Vista, Arizona; two sister, Michelle Moralis and her husband Humberto of Leominster, Jessica Bizzak of Sierra Vista, Arizona; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family extends a heartfelt "Thank You" to all the staff of UMass Memorial Hospital's Intensive Care Unit for their help and support.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Mack Funeral Home, 91 Vernon Street, Gardner. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Mack Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the American Diabetes Association, 330 Congress St., 5th Floor, Boston, MA 02210 or to UMass Memorial Hospital, 119 Belmont Street, Worcester, MA 01605.
