Christopher Paul Mallette

PETERSHAM - Christopher Paul Mallette, 39, of 71 Glen Valley Road, Petersham, died on Sunday, April 1, 2012 at home.     Christopher was born in Athol on December 11, 1972, the son of Ronald Mallette and Candice (White) (Mallette) Tamason. He was raised and educated in Athol and graduated from Athol High School with the class of 1990. He was a resident of Petersham for the past twenty years.      Christopher previously worked as manager of Dennis Citgo's uptown and former downtown locations for thirteen years. He was employed as an electronics technician for Suzor Electronics in Athol for the past five years. Chris was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed watching the Bruins, Red Sox and especially the Patriots. He loved to walk in the woods with his family and their dog. He loved bonfires, the beach and fishing with his brothers. Chris enjoyed riding 4-wheelers with his sons as well as his numerous friends.     He leaves his wife of nearly eighteen years, Emily M. (Ballou) Mallette; two sons, Jesse D. Mallette and Tyler M. Mallette of Petersham; his mother, Candice (White) (Mallette) Tamason and her husband Tony of Royalston; his father, Ronald Mallette and his wife Rosalie of Athol; two brothers, Rodney Mallette of New Mexico, Michael Mallette and his wife Jennifer of Athol; nephew and niece, Camden and Kaitlin Mallette of Athol; also many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.     Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2012 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Road, Orange. Friends and relatives are encouraged to wear their baseball hats to calling hours because Chris would have wanted all of his guests to be comfortable.     Funeral services and burial will be private.     In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in his memory to the Tyler M.
