Claire B. Hamm

WESTMINSTER - Claire B. (Fredette) Hamm, 62 of 14 Ridge St., Westminster, died Sunday, March 30, 2008 in Heywood Hospital following an illness. She was born in Gardner, on April 7, 1945, the daughter of the late Henry P. and the late Blanche O. (Proulx) Fredette. She earned her GED and then an Associate's Degree in Business Administration from Mount Wachusett Community College. She worked as a secretary, at the Internal Revenue Service in Fitchburg. She was a communicant of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. She leaves her husband, William R. Hamm of Westminster; one daughter, Carlene T. Bailey and her husband David of Winchendon; one son; Carl N. Borey of Long Beach, CA; four sisters, Germaine Lanoue of Florida, Theresa Petzolt of Gardner, Anne Riley of Kingsman, AZ, Lorraine Fredette of Gardner; one brother; Robert Fredette of Winchendon; two step sons, William R. Hamm Jr. of Bristol, CT, John B. Hamm of Leicester; three grandchildren, David Bailey of Winchendon, Ashley Bailey of Winchendon, and Jacob Hamm of Leicester. She was predeceased by her brother, Henry Fredette Jr., and by her sister, Jacqueline Nygard. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
