Clairette Summers, born October 9, 1941, was a woman of ceaseless compassion and unparalleled resilience. Born in Baghdad, Iraq, and later making her home in Athol, Massachusetts, she cast a luminous light on every life she touched. A true testament to the power of unyielding love, Clairette devoted her life to the care of others, working tirelessly as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the healthcare industry. Her life was a brilliant symphony of compassion, dedication, and indomitable spirit that echoed in the hearts of those she loved and cared for.
Throughout her life, Clairette embodied the essence of resilience. Her strength was not rigid but flexible, and she met life's challenges with courage and grace. As a mother, Clairette's love was boundless and unconditional. Her children, Veranka Johnson (David), Christine Goodwin, Angeline Farmer (Brian), and Edward Summers; her eight grandchildren, Anna Johnson, David Woodruff, Michelle Summers, Ariel Carney, Jacob Rebelllo, Brilynn Farmer, Kylie Farmer, and Justin Farmer; and her six great-grandchildren, Luna, Meadow, Emma, Rhea, Emma, Nolan, Oliver and Mia were the center of her universe, a testament to her nurturing spirit. Her commitment to her children was unwavering, and she remains a beacon of love and strength in their lives.
Clairette's legacy is continued by her children, her numerous friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Warena Ceasar.
Her memory will be celebrated on Monday, 10th March 2025 at Mack Family Funeral Homes Athol-Orange Chapel, 110 New Athol Road, Orange, with a calling hour at 9:30 - 10:30 am, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 am at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 101 Main Street, Athol, Massachusetts, 01331.
