Clifford George Bryant, 70, of East Wakefield, NH (formerly of Gloucester, MA) passed away on April 15, 2021, after a brief illness. Clifford was born on May 31, 1950, in Weymouth, MA, to Calvin F. Bryant and Marjorie (Goodwin) Bryant, and grew up in Rockland, MA. He attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst, married his late wife Patricia in 1973, and took several jobs in sales over the next decade. In order to spend more time with his family and to follow his passions, Clifford eventually entered into work for himself, designing, building and installing custom cabinets for clients all over the North Shore. He was an active volunteer in his church and in the local youth soccer league, devoting many hours of his time to improving the lives of those around him. He was first and foremost a devoted father and fiercely supported his children and their friends, serving as coach, tutor, executive chef, superfan, and soccer taxi driver for so much of their childhood.
Clifford is survived by his son, Matthew Bryant and his wife, Kristen of Nashua, NH; his daughter Lisa (Bryant) Mattison, her husband Andrew, and his beloved granddaughters, Alexa and Halle Mattison of Lancaster, MA; his brother, Richard Bryant, and his wife Susan of Marshfield, MA; many nieces, nephews, and friends; and his Wheeler’s Point family that he loved dearly.
He is predeceased by his wife of 46 years, Patricia (Witham) Bryant; his father, Calvin F. Bryant; and his mother, Marjorie (Goodwin) Bryant.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
