Cory M. Deloge

Hubbardston-Cory M. Deloge, 28 died Monday, December 27, 2021. He leaves his four children, Savannah Deloge, Owen Deloge, Riley Deloge and Hunter Deloge; his mother, Tricia (Knight) Deloge all of Hubbardston; his father, Adam Rathbun of N Stonington, CT; four sisters, Charissa Rathabun of Stoneham, Alysia Rathbun of N Stonington, CT, Angelica Deloge of Medway, ME and Gabrielle Deloge of Lunenburg; brother Aiden Rathbun of N Stonington, CT; his maternal grandparents, Albert and Judy Knight of N Stonington, CT, his uncle David Knight and his wife Lori of N Stonington, CT.; paternal Grandmother Diane Nelson and her husband Rick of N.S. CT; Paternal Grandfather Douglas Rathbun and wife Ree ; three nephews, Jason Federico, Thomas Fortin, George Gumlaw; his step-father, Michael Deloge of Gardner.And his parents, Patrick and Karen Ruitto. Cory was born in Dover Foxcroft ME, on July 29, 1993. He worked in construction, as an environmental scientist and as a timber harvester. He enjoyed fishing, listening to music, playing baseball, loved the outdoors and was a great jokester. His greatest joy was playing with his four children. Although Cory had a gift for life and loved his children and family dearly, he battled mental health issues and addiction. If you are lucky enough to not understand addiction, then you are, in fact, an extremely lucky person. May you never have to see someone you love disappear before your eyes over time as our family has. He remains in all our hearts and in spirit forever. Cory, our son, my grandchildren's' daddy, lost his battle with addiction today. He has been a recovering addict and fighting the battle for some time now. He is finally at peace. May the fore winds continue to blow his four children safe with me, their Nanny. Forever in our hearts.
