Daniel Vincent D’Angelo, 39, died Friday, October 1, 2021 at Heywood Hospital, after battling covid.
He leaves his wife Delmi (Galdamez) D'Angelo; two sons, Anthony Josué D'Angelo and Daniel Alexander D'Angelo all of Templeton; five brothers and sisters, Sherri Hosmer of FL, Mark Adams of Yarmouth, Lisa D'Angelo of Medford, Lee Adams of Dennis and Joseph D'Angelo of Fort Worth, TX; two aunts Carmel Sandock of Westborough and Linda Blomerth of ME; one uncle Malcolm Gillis of MA and many nieces and nephews.
Daniel was born in Winchester, on June 28, 1982 a son of the late Anthony Frank and Danna (Gillis) D'Angelo. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by an Aunt, Judy Gillis. He graduated from Dennis Yarmouth Regional High School.
He worked for Massachusetts Financial Services in Internet Security. He was a longtime board member and coach for the Narragansett Area Youth Baseball; he helped take care of the fields and he enjoyed coaching flag football. He loved to go fishing with his sons, gardening, cooking and spending time with his sons and his family. Daniel even wrote several computer programs and built them as well.
Daniel's funeral will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the Lamoureux-Smith & Poliks Chapel of the Mack Family Funeral Homes, 105 Central Street, Gardner, MA 01440.
Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
