ATHOL – David P. Boudreau, 76 of Athol, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018. David was born in Athol on November 27, 1941, the son of the late Fred Boudreau and the late Eugenia (Ollari) Boudreau. He grew up in Athol, attending Athol schools. He was one of the first graduating students from the new Athol High School. He enlisted in the US Army in 1959 serving 3 years in Fairbanks, Alaska and at Presidio in San Francisco, CA. David worked as a machinist for the former Union Twist Drill and Niagara Cutter and was a store manager for Stan’s Liquor. He was a longtime member of the Ellinwood Country Club and the Athol American Legion Post 102. He enjoyed playing golf and cards. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Lillian M. (Hornberger) Boudreau of Athol, son; Matthew Boudreau and his wife Pam of Athol, daughter; Maria Laford and her husband Andy of Athol, grandson; James Laford of Athol, sister; Jean Burnes of MN, Uncle; John Ollari of Orange, and one niece and nephew. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
