ORANGE - David Andrew Carlyle, 62 of Orange, died Thursday, February 11, 2021.
He was born in Fort Riley, Kansas, on August 21, 1958, the son of Cameron Carlyle and Dorothy (Nye) Carlyle.
David graduated from Algonquin Regional High School in Northborough, MA in 1978. He graduated from the University of Connecticut and the University of Florida.
He was a School Psychologist in Florida previously and currently in the Templeton and Athol school systems.
While living in Florida he was a member of the Calvary Chapel Church in Jupiter, Florida, the Crossroads in Athol and he was a member of the Appalachian Mountain Club. He enjoyed downhill skiing, cross country skiing, cycling, collecting old books, reading, gardening, landscaping, poker and collecting antiques.
He leaves his wife of 9 years, Naomi (Alfredo) Carlyle; his mother, Dorothy Carlyle of Woodstock, CT; two daughters, Jenna Carlyle of Jupiter, FL, Jessica Alger and her husband David of Jupiter, FL; two sons, Ryan Carlyle and his wife Dania of Jupiter, FL, Daniel Carlyle and his wife Jessica of Charlottesville, VA; two sisters, Catherine Carlyle of Quinebaug, CT, Laurie Funk of Lebanon, PA; one brother, Chris Carlyle of Alexandria, VA; five grandchildren, Aidan, Savannah, Christian, Lyla, Elijah; nephews and nieces, Sarah Funk, Tim Funk and Cameron Carlyle.
