David John Snyder

WORCESTER - David John Snyder, 56, of 14 Oread Street in Worcester, died unexpectedly Monday morning November 28th at Saint Vincent Hospital. He was born in Gardner, MA on February 29, 1960 to Margaret “Peggy” Snyder of Fitchburg and the late Donald Snyder. He lived many years in Gardner with his family until moving to Worcester. David was a current and longtime employee for Lutco, Inc. in Worcester, leaving many friends and co-workers behind. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, bowling, playing cards, listening to music and spending time with all of his family and friends. Dave “DOG” Snyder was adored by all who knew him. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, son, uncle and loyal friend. He leaves three children; his son Nicholas Snyder and his wife Misty of Baldwinville; two daughters, Kelsey Snyder of Millbury and Brianna Snyder of Gardner; two grandchildren, Brayden Snyder and Sophia Snyder of Baldwinville; his former wife and the mother of his children, Rae Ann Specht. He also leaves behind his siblings; Denise Jones and her husband Michael of Burlington; Alan Snyder and his wife Amy of Athol; Linda Goddard and her husband Charlie of Rindge NH; Sandy Nolette of Fitchburg; a sister in law Tracy Snyder of Hudson NH, as well as many nieces and nephews. Dave was predeceased by his brother Dennis Snyder and sister Cheryl Syriopoulos. As per Dave’s last wishes there will be no calling hours or formal service held. There will be a celebration of life to share pictures and memories in Dave’s honor at a later date.
