Deborah A (Coleman) Farley

November 28, 1957 — February 23, 2013

Athol- Deborah A. (Coleman) Farley, 55, of 1753 White Pond Road passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 23, 2013 peacefully in her sleep at home. Deborah was the daughter of Rodman Coleman of Athol and the late Marie (Daigle) Coleman who passed away in 2007. Deborah grew up in Athol, attended Athol Schools and Becker College in Worcester where she earned an Associate’s Degree. She worked for several different banks as a business administrator, Rodney Hunt in Orange for many years, and more recently at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst as an Alumni Coordinator. Deborah was known to have a huge heart for helping people, no matter who they were.  She loved animals, especially her dog “Fenway,” and spending time in the York, Maine area. She also enjoyed reading, cooking, spending time with her family, and relaxing in her swimming pool. Deborah was very active and never sat still. Besides her father, she leaves behind her husband of 35 years, Kim Farley, two sons: Glenn Farley and his wife Heather, of Newtown, PA and Christopher Farley of Nashua, NH, two grandchildren: Mackenzie Farley and Jackson Farley, one sister: Nancy Kingsbury of Orange, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother and her brother Richard Coleman who passed away in 2011. Calling hours will be held at the Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home 110 New Athol Road, Orange on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at 10:00am. Burial will follow in the South Cemetery, South Main Street, Orange. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Deborah’s name be made to: NEADS (National Education for Assistance Dog Services also known as Dogs for Deaf and Disabled Americans), P.O. Box 213, West Boylston, MA 01583, or donate online at:  www.neads.org.    Donations may also be left at the funeral home.
