Delina (Erali) Gendron

ATHOL - Delina (Erali) Gendron, 96 of Athol, died Wednesday, June 1, 2016 in the Wachusett Manor Nursing Home, Gardner, MA. She was born in Whitingham, VT, on September 21, 1919, the daughter of the late Antimio and the late Francisco (Ferria) Erali. Delina was a life- long resident of Athol. She graduated with the Class of 1936 from Athol High School. She attended Berkshire Business School in Pittsfield, Ma. She worked in payroll for many years. She was a communicant of Our Lady Immaculate Church. She loved going to the Athol Senior Center, shopping, and Bingo. Del enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, especially for the holidays. She leaves one daughter: Donna of Boston: three sons: David and his wife Amanda of Millers Falls, Ralph Jr. and his wife Mary Ann, of South Barre; Scott and Hilda of Athol; three grandchildren: Brian, Eric and Naomi; one great grandson, Blake. She was predeceased by her husband Ralph Sr. in 2005. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 10:00 am in Our Lady Immaculate Church, 192 School St., Athol. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Rd., Orange.
