Dennis Donald Camerer

ASHBURNHAM – Dennis Donald Camerer, 70 of Ashburnham, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at home with his family by his side. Dennis was born on February 15, 1947 in Fitchburg, the son of the late Donald Camerer and the late Rita (LeBLanc) Camerer. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1965 -1969. He was a self employed painter and the owner of Dennis Camerer Painting Contracting for many years. He enjoyed life, traveling, casinos, beaches and spending time with friends and family. He is survived by his wife of 47 years: Rosemarie (Dubuque) Camerer; one daughter: Sherryann Camerer and her fiancé Leslie Cooley of Athol; three grandchildren: Michael Senecal of Athol, Ashley Senecal of Athol, Christopher Camerer and his wife Britny of Winchendon; one great grandson: Matthew Camerer; two sisters-in-law: Patricia Leger of Ashburnham, Annette Machunsky of Fitchburg; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Dennis was predeceased by his brother Roger Camerer. A graveside service will be held Friday, August 25, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glen Allen Rd., Winchendon, MA. Immediately following the funeral there will be a Celebration of life at the American Legion at 295 School Street, Winchendon, MA. There are no calling hours.
