In the immortal words of Dr. Seuss, "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened." Today we're smiling in memory of Diana Earle, a woman who could find the silver lining in any cloud and make you laugh while discovering it. Born on the 9th of November, 1937, in Gardner, MA, Diana spent her life demonstrating what it means to be compassionate, creative, funny, and resilient.
Diana's career as an Inspector at Simplex Time Recorder was only one facet of her vibrant life. She was a master with yarn and thread, turning crochet hooks and needles into instruments of beauty. Bowling pins feared her, and she was a force to be reckoned with at the card table. But what mattered most to Diana was family. As a mother to Kevin, Michael, and Brian, she instilled the values of love, joy, and resilience.
She now joins her beloved husband, Erwin Earle, her parents, Joseph and Marie Cormier, and brothers, Gerald and Roger Cormier, in the eternal embrace. She leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter in her sons: Kevin, Michael, and Brian Earle. As we remember Diana, let's not forget that in her world, a day without laughter was a day wasted.
