Donald H. Buiwit

BARRE - Donald H. Buiwit, 62 of 144 Pleasant St., Barre, died Sunday, December 11, 2011 at home. He was born in Groton, MA on March 18, 1949, the son of Henry and the late Eleanor (Gintner) Buiwit. Donald grew up in Gardner and Graduated from Gardner High School. He was employed at the Massachusetts Audubon Society as a caretaker. He was a member of the Audubon Society; he served on the Petersham Board of Health for two terms; he was a Constable in Petersham and was on the Petersham Call Fire Department. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and time spent on Cape Cod.  He leaves three daughters, Kristen Pueleo of Amesbury, MA, Heather Buiwit of Marietta, Georgia, Alicia Young of Athol; five sons, Erik Buiwit of Gardner, Nathan Buiwit of Lunenburg, Joshua Young of Athol, Jacob Young of Athol, Ryan Buiwit-Young of New Braintree; his father, Henry Buiwit of Lunenburg, one brother, Richard Buiwit of Lunenburg, a step-son, Matthew Young of Ashburnham and nine grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Monday, December 26, 2011 at 2 p.m. in the Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Road, Orange. Burial will be private at a later date.  There are no calling hours.  For more information or to sign our online guest book please visit www.fiskemurphymack.com.
