Donald S. McMilleon

GARDNER - Donald S. McMilleon, 85 of Gardner, died Monday, May 25, 2020 in Athol Hospital. He was born in Norwalk, CT, on February 15, 1935, the son of the late Lawrence and the late Corrine (Lafleur) McMilleon. Donald owned and operated his own landscaping business. For years he provided service planting, mowing and maintaining the grounds of Digital Corporation. In retirement he loved being in the woods, he would collect greens, pussy willows, red berries and wild flowers to make wreaths and floral arrangements to sell and to give to local people. Donald was predeceased by his wife, Eleanor M. (Iram) McMilleon and by his son, Kevin R. McMilleon. He is survived by two daughters, Linda LaVoie of Worcester, Dori McMilleon of Gardner; two sons, Jon McMilleon and his son Bryce of Gardner, James McMilleon, his wife Donna and their children, Lauren and Brandon of Oceanside, CA; one sister, Carol Gaudet of Lunenburg; two brothers, Lawrence McMilleon of Gardner, Francis McMilleon and his wife Carol of Leominster, and many nieces and nephews.
