Donna L. Adam

GARDNER - Donna L. (Lucier) Adam, 65 of Gardner, died Thursday, March 5, 2020 at home. She was born in Gardner, on March 7, 1954, the daughter of Patricia (Mattson) Lucier and the late Homer E. Lucier. She lived in Gardner most of her life. Donna married her beloved husband Wayne M. Adam, August 5, 1972, and together they shared over 41 years of marriage. Wayne passed away August 25, 2013. Donna worked in the nursing care industry for many years before retiring. As a life long avid Red Sox fan it was rare for her to miss a game. Donna also enjoyed frequent trips to Foxwoods and the White Mountains for vacation. Most of all, Donna loved spending time with her family. She cherished every moment she spent with her husband, son, grandchildren and dog Bugaboo. She leaves her mother and best friend, Patricia Lucier of Gardner; her son, Mark E. Adam and his wife Ronelle of Westminster; five brothers, Richard Lucier and his companion Dale of Winchendon, Bob Lucier and his wife Janet of Winchendon, David Lucier and his wife Betsy of Winchendon, Gary Lucier of Gardner, Mike Lucier and his companion Annie of Winter Haven, FL; the loves of her life her two grandchildren, Taylor and Sadie Adam and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Steven J. Lucier. Relatives and friends are planning to honor and celebrate Donna’s life by gathering for calling hours in the Mack Family Funeral Home, 105 Central St., Gardner on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 from 5 to 7 pm. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at 11:00 am in the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen St., Winchendon.
