Donna M. Briggs

Donna M. Briggs passed away peacefully January 7, 2025 from a rare form of dementia. 

Born August 13, 1945 in England to Donald and Margaret Hawkins. 

She was raised in Athol and graduated from Athol High School.

She worked for the Athol-Royalston School district for over 30 years. Donna, loved being a para-professional at Riverbend School with many different teachers and working with hundreds of children over the years. 

She loved to walk with her girls and be with her family along with all her golden retrievers. 

Donna leaves her three daughters Lee Fredette, her husband Leo, Tracy Shepardson, Rebecca Parmenter and her husband Jim. Her grandchildren, Erick Fredette, Matthew Shepardson, and Emily Parmenter. Her great granddaughter Sofia Fredette. Brothers, David Hawkins and Robert Hawkins along with their children. She is pre deceased by her parents and husband Will N Briggs and a sister Jean Hause.

Calling Hours will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2025 from 1:00-2:00PM at Mack Family Funeral Home, Athol-Orange Chapel, 110 New Athol Rd., Orange, MA with a Funeral Service to follow at 2:00PM.
