Donna R. (Greene) O'Leary

Phillipston- Donna R. (Greene) O’Leary, 65, of 385 Highland Ave, Phillipston, passed away on Saturday February 22, 2014 with her family by her side. She was born in Gardner on August 3, 1948, the daughter of the late Harold and Eunice (Taft) Greene. Donna attended Narragansett High School and later went on to work for the Baldwinsville nursing home as a C.N.A. She was well known as “Auntie Donna” to the many children that she cared for and especially enjoyed caring for her own grandchildren. She was a wonderful wife, mother and homemaker. Donna enjoyed camping, cooking, shopping, bingo, reading and going out for rides to the Valley and stopping at the many farm stands along the way. She always looked forward to spending time with family and friends. She will be greatly missed by her children. She leaves behind three sons; Craig Greene and his companion Louanne Russel of NH, Jason O’Leary and his companion Tanya Cote of Winchendon, and Robert P. O’Leary and his companion Cheryl Mallet of Phillipston, one brother William Greene and his wife Linda of Templeton, one sister; Carol-Ann Gleeba of Athol, six grandchildren; Mariah, Jason Jr, Danielle, Mathew, Briana, and Mackenzie, and many nieces and nephews. Donna was predeceased by her husband of 34 years; Robert F. O’Leary (2007), one son; Sean O’Leary (2012), and one sister; Patricia Neimi (2012). Calling hours will be held from the Mack Funeral Home on Thursday February 27, 2014 from 5:30pm-7:00pm. A funeral service will be held immediately following at 7:00pm in the funeral home. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Gardner in the spring.
