Donna L Williams

May 27, 1943 — February 2, 2024

It is with great love and cherished memories that we announce the passing of Donna L. Williams. Born on May 27, 1943, in Worcester, MA, Donna's life was a testament to courage, love, good humor, and thoughtful dedication. Her zest for life was contagious, and her heart was always full of love for her family and friends. Donna's laughter and her delicious baked goods were the backdrop of many family gatherings.

Donna resided in Leominster, Massachusetts, where she spent her retirement after years of dedicated service in human services. She was a courageous woman, always ready to face the odds, whether it was at the Casino or dealing with life's challenges. Summers at Old Orchard Beach were Donna's favorite times of the year, where she would spend time searching for sand dollars.  What mattered most to this exceptional woman was her family. Her children and grandchildren were her world, and she was theirs.

Donna is survived by her loving children, Karen (Chris) Chiurri, Mary (David) Gendron, Richard (Linda) Williams, Keith (Sherree) Williams, and daughter-in-law Marge Giedemann Williams. Nothing brought more joy to her life than her grandchildren, Jenna and Katelyn Chiurri, Megan and Nicole Gendron, Matthew and Daniel Williams, and Douglas Williams, and two great-grandchildren Theodore and Cooper Williams.  Donna also leaves behind her loving sister, Nancy Beckwith. Donna often said her sister Nancy was like a mother to her, as she spent many years living with her sister and family.

She was preceded in death by her dear husband, James Williams, her parents, Malvern and Edith Ray, sister Judith Tilton, and her son, James Jr.

As we remember Donna, we encourage you to upload your favorite photos, share your precious memories, and celebrate the life of this remarkable woman on the memorial page. Her life was a testament to the power of love, courage, laughter, and thoughtfulness. May we all strive to live with such zest, to love so deeply, and to laugh as heartily as Donna did.
