LEOMINSTER - Doris (Caiazzi) DiConza, 86, of Leominster, died on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 in the Lifecare Center of Leominster after an illness.
She was born on March 12, 1925 in Leominster, the daughter of the late Primo Caiazzi and Pasqua (Liscotti) Caiazzi and was a lifelong Leominster resident.
She leaves her two daughters, Rosemarie St. Onge and her husband John, Anna M. LePage and her husband Richard all of Leominster; her five grandchildren, Jennifer, Jessica, Jason, Christine and Robert; five great grandchildren, Kayla, Austin, Jenna-Cate, Daulton and Samantha; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her husband of fifty-two years, Alphonse DiConza, died in 2001. Two brothers, Antonio Caiazzi and Vittorio Caiazzi and her sister, Irene Cristofono, also predeceased her.
Doris attended Leominster schools and was employed for many years at the former Cluet and Peabody Shirt Co as a stitcher.
The funeral will be held on Friday, September 16, 2011 from the Simard Funeral Home, 14 Walker St., Leominster, with an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Cecilia's Church, 180 Mechanic St., Leominster.
Burial will follow in St. Leo's Cemetery, Leominster.
Calling hours in the funeral home on Friday morning, September 16, 2011, from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
