Doris G. Hagie

ATHOL - Doris G. (Fleurant) Hagie, 80 of 821 Daniel Shays Highway, Athol, died Friday, December 21, 2007 in the Quabbin Valley Healthcare, Athol. She was born in Winchendon, on June 1, 1927, the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Rose Alma (Depatie) Fleurant. She grew up in Winchendon and attended Winchendon schools. She moved to Gardner when she was seventeen and had resided there for most of her life. She was employed at Simplex Time Recorder for over twenty years. Her hobbies included Bingo, trips to Foxwoods, cooking on the holidays for her family and grandchildren, and her grandchildren always new where the snack draw was. She leaves one daughter: Elaine Hagie and fiance Bob Dembek of Winchendon; two sons: James A. Hagie and wife Sandra of Athol and Stephen G Hagie of Athol; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in the spring. There are no calling hours.
