Doris Marie (Whittemore) Ricko

ATHOL - Doris M (Whittemore) Ricko, 59 of Athol, died Friday, March 13, 2015 at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Athol, on October 17, 1955, the daughter of Edward C. and Kathleen M. (Desreuisseau) Whittemore. Doris grew up in Athol and graduated from Athol High School in 1973.  She worked for Saloom Furniture in Winchendon for over 5 years and for the Athol Table Shop for over 10 years.  She enjoyed puzzles, reading, playing cards and her time at camp in Fitzwilliam, N.H. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She leaves one daughter: Felicia Fuller and her husband David of Westfield; two sons: Jason Duguay and his wife Sambath of Athol, Gerald Ricko of Athol; three sisters: Lisa Arnot of Athol, Marlene Jarvenpaa of Royalston, Edwina Whittemore of AZ; one brother: Kenneth Whittemore of Orange; one brother-in-law: Ricky Ricko of Bridgewater; five grandchildren:  Quintin, Dante, Wesley, Rozalynn and Ayana; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 20 years:  Earlon Ricko in August 2014. Calling hours will be held Friday, March 20, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Rd., Orange, MA  01364.
