Phillipston-Dorothy (Gallant) Boyatzi, 72 died Friday, February 18, 2022.
She was the wife of the late Louis Boyatzi.
She leaves one brother, Henry "Hank" Gallant of Norwood; one sister-in-law, Margarita Dempsey and her husband Frank of RI; one niece, Michelle; two nephews, Mathew and Phillip; two goddaughters, Alexandra Dempsey Bruneault and Elena Dempsey.
Dorothy is also predeceased by a brother Roger Gallant.
She was born in Dorchester, on October 7, 1949 a daughter of the late Henry J. and Margaret (McCarthy) Gallant. She was a graduate of the Boston Conservatory of Music. She worked as a music teacher for the Grafton Public Schools, Boyatzi's at Holden Hills and Sophie Serves & Boyatzi's Too.
She was the secretary for the Central New England Brittany Club and raised Champion Brittany's.
Dorothy was an avid and talented crafter, most recently making beautiful heartfelt cards.
Dorothy's funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Fiske Murphy and Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Road, Orange, MA 01364.
Burial will be private.
