Dorothy Louise Kirby

TEMPLETON - Dorothy Louise (Caisse) Kirby, 97, died at Alliance Health at Baldwinville. She was the wife of 53 years to the late Harry ‘Babe” Kirby who died in 1999. They were married on February 9, 1946 at St. Martin’s Church in Otter River. She leaves four sons, Richard J. Kirby and his wife Beth of Port St. Lucie, Fl, Paul J. Kirby of Athol, Dr. James F. Kirby and his wife Kathleen of Cheshire, CT and Michael G. Kirby and his wife Leanne of Baldwinville; two daughters, Jo-Ann M. Ilinitch and her significant other, Al Cappalini of Baldwinville and Kathleen T. Webster and her husband Peter of Baldwinville; a son-in-law Clayton Brown of Baldwinville; many grandchildren; many many great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a son Robert A. Kirby, a daughter, Judith A. Brown, a son-in-law, John Ilinitch and her brothers and sisters. She was born in East Templeton on June 7, 1925 a daughter of the late Marcel and Menda (Boucher) Caisse. She was a graduate of Templeton High School and lived in Templeton most of her life. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Church in Baldwinville. Her most precious possession was her family. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, August 22, 2022 at 10:00 am in St. Vincent de Paul Church, Baldwinville, MA Burial will follow in the Green Lawn Cemetery, Bridge Street, Baldwinville, MA Calling hours will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2022, from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m in the Mack Funeral Home, 105 Central Street, Gardner, MA 01440.
