Dorothy "Dottie" Mildred MacIntosh, born on a spring day, April 20, 1941, in Milford, Massachusetts, was a woman whose spirit and enthusiasm radiated like the sun that shone on her birthday. A woman of strength and resilience, Dottie was a beacon of warmth and joy to all who were lucky enough to cross paths with her. Her vibrant personality and her unyielding positivity were as infectious as they were inspiring. On November 22, 2024, Dottie bid her farewell to this world, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and a life well-lived.
Dottie, a devoted wife to John Sr, and a loving mother to John Jr, Russell and Michael, was the cornerstone of the MacIntosh family. She was a woman who breathed life into every space she occupied, her laughter echoing through the halls of their home in Leicester, Massachusetts. Dottie spent her professional life in retail sales, where she was not just a salesperson, but a friend to her customers. Her ability to connect with people, to listen and empathize, made her beloved by her customers and colleagues alike. Dottie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, working in her garden and going to Cape Cod. She also enjoyed doting on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dottie's life was a testament to the power of kindness, love, and the human touch.
In her passing, Dottie is survived by her husband, John Sr, and her sons, John Jr, Russell and Mike. She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Mildred Bagg, her brother Charlie and her beloved grandson Michael Jr. We
invite you to join us in celebrating the beautiful life of Dottie MacIntosh.
