Dorothy F (Young) Cote

Leominster – Dorothy F. (Young) Cote, 91, of Leominster passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Sterling Village HealthCare Center with her family by her side. Dorothy was born on September 10, 1922 in Boone, IA to the late Elmer J. and Brittie M. Young in 1922. She enjoyed needlework, traveling, doing crossword puzzles, playing cards and baking.  Her greatest joy was her spending time with her family. She leaves behind a step-daughter ; Jane Fini and her husband Herb Fini of Vero Beach FL, her daughters Frances Sage and husband Douglas of  Leominster, Reyne Booth and husband Court of Concord, MA, and Norma Boyson and husband Scott of Leominster and one son; Lester A. Cote, thirteen grandchildren; James Fini and his wife Kati of WY, Sarah Kane, Catherine Fini and her husband Stephen of  W. Hartford, CT, Robert Fini and his wife Anne , Maria Beck and her husband Ken of Littleton, Marianne Fini of Leominster, Carrie Sage, Christine Sage, Eric Boyson, Alyssa Boyson and Nicole Boyson of Leominster, Charlie Booth and Dylan Booth of Concord, MA, twelve great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Lester R. Cote, her step-son, William Cote and siblings, Ester, Myrtle, Peggy and Errett. Calling hours will be held from the Simard Funeral Home 14 Walker St, Leominster, on Friday November 22, 2013 from 5:00pm-7:00pm. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday November 23, 2013 at 10:00am in St. Cecilia’s Church, Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Cecilia’s Cemetery.
