Edward R. McClure

Edward Robert McClure (70) – Eddie “Muck” passed away on Saturday December 4, 2021 after a long health battle. Eddie was born in Gardner on April 3rd, 1951. He was a lifelong resident of Baldwinville, Massachusetts. He worked several years at B&M Railroad and Northeast Railroad Construction before he finished his working years in the construction business. Eddie loved his wife, his children and especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed playing darts, fishing, Sunday softball, horseshoes and held the Red Onion horseshoe tournament for many years at his family home. Eddie was also a member of the Otter River Sportsman’s Club and played in their slow pitch softball league. He put his heart and soul into everything he did. He was predeceased by his brothers, George McClure and Hayden McClure. He leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Linda McClure of Baldwinville; one son Kenneth McClure of Baldwinville, his wife Catie and children, Tyler, Kianna, Micah, Kelton and Jackson; two daughters Jennifer DeCarolis of Tomball Texas, her husband Mike and child Cass; Julie Smith of Gardner, her fiancé Mike Maillet and children, Brent and Madalynn; two sisters MaryAnn McClure of Athol and child Matt; Sharon DiRico of Baldwinville. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 4:45 p.m., Mack Family Funeral Home, 105 Central Street, Gardner.
