Edward T. Wojdylak, 94, of Summerdale, died on Saturday, November 30, 2019 in the Bridges at Bent Creek, Mechanicsburg.
He was born in Gardner, Massachusetts on August 12, 1925 to the late Anthony & Regina Wojdylak.
Edward was a retired Manufacturing Agent for Heywood-Wakefield Company and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Enola.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, serving with the 10th Mountain Division as a Staff Sergeant. He was the recipient of 2 Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart. In addition to his service to his country, he was a member of the Polish American Citizen Club in Gardner, MA; member of the Veteran’s of Foreign Wars and AARP.
Edward was the widower of Lucille L. Casavant Wojdylak and is survived by his son, Michael A. Wojdylak, Middletown; one daughter-in-law, Dee A. Wojdylak, Mechanicsburg; 3 step-grandchildren and 2 step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, E. Thomas Wojdylak. Jr.
Funeral Services are private at the convenience of the family.
A graveside service will be held Friday, December 6, 2019 at 1:30pm at St. Joseph’s Cemetery West Street, Gardner.
