Eileen C (Rivers) Mondville

Leominster- Eileen C. (Rivers) Mondville, 93, of Leominster, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2013. She was born to Charles and Henrietta Rivers in Springfield, MA on June 22nd, 1920. Eileen grew up in Leominster and attended Leominster Schools, before attending Henri School of Hair Design, where she was granted her hairdressing license. She owned and operated Nancy’s Beauty Shop for over forty years, alongside her daughter. Eileen was known for her love of gardening, landscaping (including putting up her own chain-link fence when she was 72), and planting flowers in her yard. She loved caring for the animals that she had over the years, which included horses, ducks, and cats. Her most recent companion animal was Casper, a white cat who she loved unconditionally. Eileen loved spending time with her family. Eileen leaves behind one son: Kenneth Mondville, of Londonderry, NH; two daughters: Joan Bazucki (Mondville), of Leominster, and Nancy Culley (Mondville), and her husband Edward Culley of Leominster; two sisters: Cecilia Young of Fitchburg and Mildred Skutt of CT; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Albert Mondville, in 1984; one son: Ronnie Mondville; three brothers and two sisters. There will be no calling hours and services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Eileen’s name be made to the Pat Brody Shelter P.O.Box 142 Lunenburg, MA 01462.
