Eleanor B. LaMarche

ATHOL - Eleanor B. (Rouleau) LaMarche, 87 of 139 Gage Rd, Athol, died Friday, August 3, 2007 at home. She was born in Gardner, on October 31, 1919, the daughter of the late Gideon and the late Beatrice (Kelly) Rouleau. She attended Gardner schools and moved to Athol as a teenager. She worked as a Secretary at the former N.D. Cass Dairy Farm and later helped to run the family business, Rouleau's Oil Company. Eleanor enjoyed spending time with her family, knitting, crotcheting, sewing, making crafts, gardening, and bird watching. She leaves one son, George LaMarche and his wife Donna of Orange; a grandson, Joshua LaMarche and his wife Mary of Athol; a granddaughter, Sarah Brouillet and her husband Joseph of Orange; four great grandchildren; Hunter, Dakota, Gracie and Aurore; one brother, Robert Rouleau and his wife Marguerite of Orange; several aunts nieces and nephews. Eleanor was predeceased by her husband, George LaMarche Sr., on Aug. 3, 1956. At Eleanor's request there will be no callling hours and a private memorial service will be held at the conveniene of the family in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to the Gardner Visiting Nuring Associaiton 34 Perly Lane, Gardner, MA 01440 or to a charity of their choice.
