Eleanor (Wisniewski) Quarella 94, died peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, May 29, 2021. She was the wife of 73 years to the late John Quarella who died September 16, 2020. Eleanor leaves four daughters, Kathryn Keyworth of Gardner, Denise Nordman and her husband Wayne of New Port Richey, FL, Paula Allen and her husband William of Gardner, and Suann Chapman and her husband Thomas of Templeton; one son, John Quarella, Jr. and his wife Cynthia of West Boylston; nine grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. She was born in Gardner on June 21,1926, daughter of the late Walter and Anna (Hendricks) Wisniewski. She was a 1944 graduate of Gardner High School and graduated from the Louis Breagau Hair School in Worcester. She worked as a hairdresser owning and operating Q's Beauty Shoppe in Templeton for many years. She was a member of AARP, the Gardner Golden Ages, and Holy Cross Church in East Templeton. Eleanor enjoyed embroidery and hand work and truly loved time spent with her children and grandchildren. Her funeral will be held on Monday, June 7, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, 25 Lake Avenue, East Templeton, MA 01438. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon, MA 01475. A calling hour will be held in the funeral home from 9:15-10:15 a.m. on Monday, June 7, 2021, prior to the funeral.
