Eleanore F. St. George

ATHOL - Elenore F. St. George, 98 of Athol, died Saturday, October 6, 2012 in the Quabbin Valley Healthcare, Athol. She was born in Windsor, CT, on September 18, 1914, the daughter of the late Frederick and the late Katherine (Mack) St. George. She was raised and educated in Worcester and graduated from Commerce High School.   She resided in Athol since 1940 and was a communicant of Our Lady Immaculate Church.  Ms. St. George worked as office manager at WT Grant Company for thirty-nine years until her retirement in 1975.  She was a member of the Athol Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and worked in their gift shop for many years. She leaves several cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, October 11, 2012 at 10:00 am in Our Lady Immaculate Church, 192 School St., Athol.  Burial will follow in Silver Lake Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to Our Lady Immaculate Church Building Fund, 192 School St., Athol, MA 01331.
