ATHOL – Elizabeth MacKenzie, 75 of Athol passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2018 in Heywood Hospital, Gardner.
Elizabeth was born in Gardner, MA on December 21, 1942, the daughter of the late Amos V. MacKenzie and the late Pauline (Cameron) MacKenzie.
She graduated from Athol High School with the Class of 1960, attended Boston University and graduated in 1964 majoring in Illustration and Design.
Elizabeth worked at Deaconess Hospital / Beth Israel Deaconess for 40 years as an Admitting Clerk. She was a member of the Athol Senior Center and the Erving Senior Center. She loved traveling, photography, fine food and the fine arts.
Elizabeth is survived by her sisters Pauline Kiely and her husband Thomas of Athol, Annie Davenport and her husband Stanley Olchowski of Chugiak, AK; two nephews: Torin Kiely of Orange, MA, Owen Kiely of Pasadena, CA.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
