ATHOL - Emerenciana (Linao) Yandoc, 97 of 298 Vine Street, Athol, died Sunday, January 6, 2013 in the Quabbin Valley Healthcare, Athol surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Philippines, on January 23, 1915, the daughter of the late Gelacio and the late Marcelina (Laopoco) Linao.
She grew up in the Philippines and graduated Central Escolar University - College of Pharmacy in the Philippines.
She moved to the United States in 1971 and to Athol in 1984. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Immaculate Church and a member of the church choir.
She enjoyed going to the Adult Day Care in Athol.
She leaves her husband of 71 years, Marcial Yandoc Sr.; one daughter, Corazon Maramag and her husband Carlos of Athol; three sons, Roberto Yandoc and his wife Edna of the Philippines, Marcial Yandoc, Jr. and his wife Rosita of Warwick, RI, Joseph Yandoc and his wife Beth of New York; 18 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two sons, Reynaldo Yandoc I and Reynaldo Yandoc II.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 11:00 am in Our Lady of Immaculate Church, 192 School St., Athol. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, January 10, 2013 from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at the Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Road, Orange.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to Our Lady Immaculate Church, 192 School St., Athol, MA 01331.
