TEMPLETON- Emile Langlais, 80, of Templeton, died Tuesday, April 10, at the Highlands after an illness.
Emile was born April 26, 1937, in Gardner, one of four sons (Earl, Donald, and Paul) of the late Roger and Anthea (Perault) Langlais.
He worked as a contract painter for many years. He had unbelievable attention to detail and was sought after because of that skill. Emile will be remembered as being incredibly generous. He never said no to anyone in need of help.
He leaves his wife of 55 years, Ruth E. (Malonson) Langlais; one son, Rene Langlais of Baldwinville; two daughters, Mary Gnoza and her husband, Kenneth of Athol, and Debbie Langlais of Baldwinville; six grandchildren, Kenny Gnoza, Justina Gnoza, Brian LeBlanc, Jason LeBlanc, Michael Langlais, and Rene Langlais; several great grandchildren.
Calling hours are Friday, April 13, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Lamoureux-Smith & Poliks Funeral Home, a Mack Family Funeral Home, 105 Central St., Gardner.
The funeral will be held Saturday, April 14, at 10:00 A.M. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery.
