Eric Robert Gage, 26, Athol, was met by the lord at 8:45 p.m., Sunday May 13, 2018, from injuries sustained as a passenger in a single vehicle accident in Athol, Massachusetts.
Eric was born on November 22, 1991, in Lowell, Massachusetts. Throughout his life, Eric spent much of his time with his siblings. They were not only his brothers and sisters but also his closest friends. Being one of five children there was always someone to play with and mischief to get into. He graduated from Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical High School in 2010. Eric worked as an electrician’s apprentice along with holding various side jobs for others and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Eric served in the Army for a period of time and received an honorable discharge. Eric was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed following his favorite sports teams but especially loved the Bruins. Eric’s friends and family meant the world to him. He has been described by many as genuine, loyal, compassionate, and caring. He would give you the shirt off his back with no questions asked. He has touched the hearts of so many people.
Eric is the beloved son of: Pamela Walsh and her wife Mary-Beth and Allen B. Gage III and his partner Michelle Ann Valois (and her children). He will be missed dearly by his siblings: Laura Brown and her husband Armand, Allen Gage IV and his wife Tanya, Jacob Gage and his fiancé Samantha and Sarah Gage. Eric will also be missed by his niece and nephews whom he adored: Allen Gage V, Xander Gage, Eva Brown, and Kaleb Gage; paternal grandmother: Mary Gage; maternal grandparents: Roger and Ethel Leduc; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was welcomed and met into heaven by his paternal grandfather Allen Gage Jr., his pizza pal. He will be missed by all those whose lives he touched in his short 26 years.
Eric would ask all who share a love for him, to celebrate his life, to offer kindness to others, and to hold onto the many happy memories he has left behind.
Services are open to all who wish to celebrate Eric’s life . Calling hours will be held from 9:30AM-11:00AM followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 19, at the Fiske-Murphy& Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Rd., Orange MA, Pastor Calvin Miller will officiate. Burial will be private for family.
