ATHOL - Etienne G. Lozier, 18 of 937 Partridgeville Rd., Athol, died Saturday, April 23, 2011 in the Athol Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Worcester, on September 25, 1992, the son of Justin W. Siepierski and Christine D. Lozier-Duprey.
Etienne grew up in Athol and attended Athol High School where he was a senior. As a young boy he won the Pinewood Derby in Cub Scouts along with the help of his Great Grandfather Ralph Tangley. He played baseball while in middle school with the Chuck Stone Babe Ruth league. He competed in the Shot-put for Athol High School indoor track for the past two years. As #64 on the Athol High School Football Team for several years he was awarded the 2011 Chris O'Brien Award and Outstanding Linesman Award. Etienne made some very good friends while playing football and considered them family.
He was a communicant of Our Lady Immaculate Church where he was an Altar Server for several years. Etienne was currently teaching 2nd grade CCD with is mother Christine. He was godfather to Isabella Mattson, daughter of one of his closest friends Mike Mattson. He loved music and was a self-taught accomplished guitarist. He wanted to become an elementary School Teacher. Etienne was big hearted and cared for others. On his behalf he would love cards to be sent to his sister Montana.

Duprey of Athol; one brother: Tyler Siepierski of West Springfield; one aunt: Jennifer Lozier and her fiancé Daniel Fontaine of Petersham; one uncle: Daniel Blais and his wife Tara of Derry, NH; Maternal Grandparents: Gerard & Linda Lozier of Athol; Paternal Grandmother: Gail Siepierski of Chicopee; Half Grandmother: Edith Blais of Granby, MA; Great Uncles and Aunts: Leon & Loretta Lozier of Athol, Rick & Donna Lozier of Belchertown, Thomas & Shari Lozier of Athol, Anne Lozier and her fiancé Scott Songer of Orange, Ralph & Linda Douglas of Garderville, NV and many cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 11:00 am in Our Lady Immaculate Church, 192 School St., Athol. Burial will be a later date in Silver Lake Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2011 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Rd., Orange, MA.
