ATHOL – Euclide J. “Bud” Lorion, 72 of Athol, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017 in Athol Hospital, after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
Bud was born on February 18, 1945 in Gardner, the son of the late Maurice Lorion and Ruth (Graves) Lorion.
He grew up in Baldwinville and graduated from Narragansett Regional High School. He was a driver for UPS for 34 years. He loved softball, horseshoes, darts and hunting. His lawn was his pride and joy.
Bud leaves his wife of 21 years: Debra R. (Boudreau) Lorion ; one son: Eric Lorion and his partner Jonny Metz; three daughters: Julie Lorion; Cheri (Lorion) Meny, Michelle (Lorion) Keyes and her husband Mike; one step-son: Bruce Lorion and his wife Debbie; his mother: Ruth Lorion; two brothers: Joseph Lorion and his wife Robin, Gary Lorion and his girlfriend Tink; one sister: Mary (Lorion) Leblanc and her husband Romeo; nine granddaughters: Brianna, Raven, Adiranna, Hunter, Ciara, Gracie, Emerson, Aiyla, Kylee; one great grandson: Talon; one great granddaughter: Kynzlee.
He was predeceased by his father Maurice Lorion and his brother Carl Lorion.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Rd., Orange. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to the American Parkinsons Disease Association, 72 E. Concord St., Boston, MA 02118.
