Evan M. Stoddard

CHICOPEE- Evan M. Stoddard, age 31, of Chicopee died Monday, February 29, 2016 at home in Chicopee. Evan was born August 20, 1984 in Brighton. He is the son of Carole A. Stoddard and the late Lewis R. Means. Evan grew up in Malden and Millbury, graduating from Millbury High School where he was a treasured player on the football team. He was employed as a business manager at Bob Pion Buick-GMC in Chicopee and previously employed as a general manager at Balley's Fitness in Worcester. Evan was an avid fitness enthusiast often competing in triathlons. He also enjoyed martial arts, anime, gaming and Asian philosophy. Evan was successful at everything he got involved in. He was much loved by most people he came in contact with. Evan will be forever missed and in the hearts of those of us who knew and loved him. He is survived by; his mother Carole A. Stoddard; two brothers: Miles Everett of Worcester and Taylor Stoddard of Athol, two aunts: Gwendolyn Means Jones and Alta Boone both of Ocala, FL., many cousins, nieces and nephews, friends and his beloved dog Kali. The funeral will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 6 at Higgin's O'Connor Funeral Home, 146 Main St., Athol, MA with Rev. Mark Bariloni officiating. Calling hours will be Sunday, March 6 from 1-2pm at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
