Evelyn Alice Towson

Fitchburg- Evelyn Alice (Moore) Towson passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Quabbin Valley Healthcare in Athol, MA. Evelyn was born on July 30, 1925 to the late Galen Moore and Alice (Laver) Moore. Evelyn grew up in Utica, NY and met her husband, William V. Towson in Newport, R.I. Evelyn had a great sense of humor, was very generous, a great mother, incredible grandmother and exceptional crewelist. She also volunteered her time at the Fitchburg Youth Library. Evelyn leaves a daughter, Karen Bellefeville & her husband Robert of Petersham; a son, William V. Towson III & his wife Pam of Townsend; grandchildren, Christopher Towson & wife Dr. Lindsey Towson of Salt Lake City, UT; Gregory Towson & his wife Gretchen of Bradford, MA; Courtney Towson of Brookline, MA; great-grandchildren, Alex William Towson, Evelyn Towson, Isla Towson, and Carter Towson.
