Florence Grant

BALDWINVILLE - Florence Grant, 80 of 51 Baldwinville, died Sunday, November 8, 2020 in the Alliance Health of Baldwinville.She was born in Alburgh, Vermont, on June 6, 1940, the daughter of the late William C. and the late Mary C. (Mumley) Grant.Florence grew up in Alburgh, Vermont and moved to Fitchburg in the early 1970's working at Seth Thomas for many years.  She eventually moved to Gardner and resided there for many years.She was a former member of St. Joseph's Church in Gardner.  She enjoyed flower gardening, fishing, crossword puzzles and playing Yahtzee.She leaves, three daughters, Sally Francis of Winchendon, Karen Powers and her husband Steven of Baldwinville, Brenda Leary of Winchendon; two sons, Steven Grant of Winchendon, Kenneth Grant and his wife Jane of Winchendon, two brothers, Charlie Grant of North Carolina, Roger Grant of Winooski, VT; two sisters, Barbara Grant of Winooski, VT, Janet Lafebure of Burlington, VT; 16 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her first husband, Clifton J. Grant, by her second husband, Robert M. Grant; by two brothers, Bobby Grant, Lawrence Grant and by a daughter in-law, Bonnie Grant, and by two grandchildren, Tommy Richard and Jessica Montgomery. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 11:00 am in the Mack Family Funeral Home, 105 Central St., Gardner.  Burial will in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fitchburg will be private.
