May 26, 1935 — December 12, 2024

Ashburnham

Frances Jean Boucher passed away on December 12th surrounded by her loving family.

Frances, fondly known as Peanut, was born on May 26, 1935 to the late Stanley Henry Gordon Anderson and Ethel Elizabeth (Stone) in the Ashburnham home where she lived until her passing. She attended school at Emeline Jewel Whitney in Ashburnham and graduated from Fitchburg High School in 1953.

Frances worked at Anwelt Shoe Corporation in Fitchburg for thirty plus years and fourteen years at ESP Lock in Leominster. With a strong work ethic apparent at a young age, she worked cleaning homes as a teenager.

The best times of her life were spent with her siblings at the town pool in Ashburnham and later with her family at York Beach in Maine and visiting her Brother in Ohio. She was always happy to be in the company of family.

Peanut will always be remembered for her incredibly quick wit. You could never be prepared for what she would say next. She instilled a strong work ethic to her children as well as the importance of honesty, integrity, and strength.

Among her survivors are her beloved husband of 59 years Roger Boucher of Ashburnham. Her children Deborah Testa of Westminster, Cindy Sadin and husband Jim of Ashburnham, and Lisa Sisoian and her husband Anthony of Leominster; Her grandchildren Kathryn Sisoian and her partner Joe Hazelton and their sweet baby Violet of Leominster, and Christina Sisoian of Leominster; her nieces and nephews Sherry Anderson Skelton, Linda Johnson, David Saball, Michael Saball, Tracy Anderson Price, Norrie Anderson, and Kenneth Anderson. She was predeceased by her brothers Stanley H.G. Anderson Jr. of Kettering Ohio, Kenneth Anderson of Conway South Carolina, and her sister June C. Saball of Ashby; her brother in law Frank Saball of Ashby; her sisters in law Virginia Anderson of Kettering Ohio, and Marsha Anderson of Conway South Carolina; her son in law Wayne Testa of Westminster and her nephew Gordon Craig Anderson of Florida.

At Frances’s request there will be no funeral services.

The family would like to thank the staff at Ashburnham Family Medicine for their tremendous support over the years, the staff at Heywood Hospital, and the staff at Care Central VNA Steve Leblanc, Beth Wright, Betsy Lonergan Napolitano, and Jessie Gaudette for their assistance and love through some difficult recoveries.
